Hi @rfair404

Thanks for sending pr, I appreciate it. We share resources to learn coding not text editor commands but it is definitely useful. Still it does not belong here. Thanks for email too.

Have a super day!

Yep, I can see how it might not be a perfect fit, which is why I put it in the "advanced" section. You're correct that VIM isn't a "coding language" but it helps you to learn a very powerful editor, that nearly all programmers will use at some point.

You could make the argument that learning how to operate the command line, or how to use git, for example, while not "coding" per-se, are things that developers should know. I'd suggest that you consider a way to make a place for these great learning tools, that will strengthen a developer's mind and ability.

Thanks for the discourse.

Hi @rfair404

I do agree that using command line is a great tool for a programmer. But I still think that it does not belong there. If you will create new header after "Apps for phones and tablets" and name it something like learn text editors than it might be good idea. Because text editors are part of programming journey than it definitely should be here. Thanks for your explanation. That's why I recommend explanation in the contribution guide.

Thanks again!
