#arturjpv could please test this brother package? https://drive.google.com/open?id=1gzYL5kUY2GUZt40B-ZU8PXR-uD05xzll
I saw we do not have it inside our repo yet, so I packaged it quick. Can you test if everything working and if it's even solves your problem in T4832 ?

Hello #Girtablulu,
Thanks! Everything is working now.
When my problem was happening "Brother DCP-L2520DW series, driverless, cups-filters 1.21.2" was selected. After installing the provided package with "sudo eopkg install brother-dcpl2520dw-3.2.0_1-1-1-x86_64.eopkg" I selected the "Brother DCP-L2520DW for CUPS" driver and everything is working!
How is this package going to be included/installed in Solus? With DoFlicky (Solus Driver Management)?
Greetings
#alecbcs I saw you have a brother printer but not the driver, would you please test this package and confirm if it's working? https://drive.google.com/open?id=1piUoGhF_7Ot5Vu_9_YRFEwf4SA6sNRVL
#Herde
Please download this package https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-6Jh2XQo7MgtfXuFtM3q2TO7Pgj3iQAQ and install 'sudo eopkg it brother-mfc1910w-3.0.1_1-1-1-x86_64.eopkg' and confirm if it's working
Thank you for this feedback, the package works great !!!!
I would like to know how you packaged it, I would like to learn by an example
If you have a connection, I'm a buyer.
Dear Sunny or Anyone on Team:
I installed a fresh budgie.

sudo eopkg install https://packages.solus-project.com/unstable/b/brother-hll2315dw/brother-hll2315dw-3.2.1-1-1-x86_64.eopkg
Terminal returns:
~ $ sudo eopkg install https://packages.solus-project.com/unstable/b/brother-hll2315dw/brother-hll2315dw-3.2.1-1-1-x86_64.eopkg

My printer DCP-7057R not available driver. On the official [website](https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=ru&lang=ru&prod=dcp7057r_eu) it is present in DEB and RPM. I ask for assistance. We also need a scanner on this MFP.
Hi there, could I have a package made for the brother MFC-9130CW?

Still looking into yours, yours is a bit older and needs some complicated patching

Thanks for the hard work on building these native drivers. I would like to make a request for our printer.
Model: MFC-9330CDW
USB: ID 04f9:02af Brother Industries, Ltd MFC-9330CDW
The automatically installed printer setup prints, but not correctly, would love to have the full proper driver.
Let me know if you need any other information...TIA

#Girtablulu [Now the printer is installed!](https://imgur.com/a/IjhQJih) The scanner works perfectly. But the printing of the document does not work. The document is sent to print, but nothing happens and the document just lies in the jobs.

Hello,
I would like to add DCP-135C to the list if possible.
i tried printing with the automatically installed drivers, "printing..printing done" nothing happens.
I installed RPM and all dependencies..

No, that didn't solve the [problem](https://imgur.com/a/z7EqwNu) either.
#lukejackson I throw it on the list, the issue your driver needs patching so it take a bit.
#alexanderzhirov I going to try to reach #sunnyflunk maybe I did a mistake while patching, I'll get back to you

#Girtablulu Maybe I should look at some logs to try to help you figure it out? You just tell me where to look.
the only real Idea I have would journalctl I'm not aware of any special "printer log" another idea is start the gnome-control-center -v over terminal and see if anything gets displayed

Thank you, no rush. I can just boot Win to print, but i'd love to format that drive at some point ;)
Edit: forgot to add the output of `lsusb` for DCP-135C

Thanks for the package! I installed it and the printer works without errors, however the printing is not a nice as from my Fedora system,
Here's pic to show the difference. The top (left in the non-rotated pic) is the Fedora system, bottom from Solus. Both set for the higher quality colour setting.

Is it picking the correct driver? It's the only one I see for this printer...

#Girtablulu I deleted printer. Opened through the gnome-control-center terminal and [added the printer](https://imgur.com/a/bL4fd4R) again. Here's what happened after adding. When I send a document to print - nothing happens in the terminal.

#SuperJC710e great at least it's printing, did you try as well as in increasing the dpi to 600 and did you check inside the printer settings if everything is set? Because you are the first who is reporting such an issue and as by far I can see and the package should work as all the others :/
#alexanderzhirov thanks for the checking, still looking into it, can you see your printer via `lsusb` ?
#alexanderzhirov let's try this, did a small change if this doesn't work I need to go back to the drawing board :/

#Girtablulu Nothing has changed... When sending to print, both messages appear at once. Like he doesn't even have time to think anymore. [Just started and immediately stopped.](https://i.imgur.com/ifjKuhi.png)

The drivers are available from Brother - as either RPM or DEB. While RPM Solus trickery can allow an install of sorts - no print no facs. Result as complaints of no cupswrapper and permissions difficulties with Cups itself. Additionally, Scanner detection does not happen correctly. All-in-all, a fail. Specifically, the driver(s) being requested are for Brother MFC-L2703DW, and Brother describes these as MFC-L2700 series. This printer is mass-market in Australia, sold through the largest office supply chain, so they're not at all rare. The drivers appear to be generic monochrome MFC Laser printers in the brother range. Brother website specifies differing procedures pre-install, depending on the relevant Linux install. Solus is 'different'.
