Need Ideas to start building core functionality

The web app is bare bones at the moment. Creating this issue to begin the brainstorming process.

Joe, here are some ideas:

• find interesting places around campus using Yelp API
• anonymous bulletin board for students with ability to upload images
• course planner for ITEC majors (show graphs as well, warn students about quirks, etc)
• course recommendation system based on some criteria
• come up with an algorithm to match lonely hearts on campus (i.e. dating)
• what is the GGC community listening to, watching or playing? (i.e. mashup using spotify, netflix, etc.)
• how to choose a major (i.e. major recommendation system)
• community on-line market (trade, buy, sell)
