seasons are the opposite way around in the Southern Hemisphere
calling autumn "fall" is a US specific term

Many thanks for pointing this out. I amended, but U.S. and northern hemisphere specific language is gone, at least that instance.

Cool, I wasn't fond of my specific phrasing either - yours is much better :)

Also watch out for "vernal/spring and autumnal/fall" equinoxes ("March and September"), and similarly for the solstices. Remember some people live upside down! :-)
