Its my understanding that we don't have test vectors for this case, this harms interoperability, and we prefer to resolve the issue here before we add support to go-cose, see: https://github.com/veraison/go-cose/issues/171

There are a couple of relevant Sign1 things stashed under the COSE examples repo:

EdDSA 25519
EdDSA 448

I guess we could start from there.
