Adding Rewind, Play / Pause, Fast Forward functions to F7, F8, F9 keys #99

Hi, I am super happy with Matebook X Pro hackintosh. However there is one issue that keeps bothering me - lack of the title keys on the keyboard. I was trying to read how to modify to make them, but I was afraid I would loose brightness, backlight, and sound keys.

Anyone knows how to implement them/anyone did that? Thanks in advance!

Have u tried carabiner? U can add a lot of custom keys with it. Not sure if it will allow u to.use them as media keys but it's worth a shot :)

I managed to assign F8 key to play/pause function.

However, both F7 and F8 are not registered. When I am trying to assign a shortcut, no key press is registered. I was trying to use Debug version of VoodooPS2Controller.kext to determine what key codes are registered while pressing both keys and e077 deadkey was registered when pressing both of them.

Are F7, F8 working for you? If yes, what keycodes do you get?
