Like the current GDL, for installation and mod/modpack updates.
When installing "Download latest" on an addon of any kind, the button should always be enabled. Once the user clicks it we should get the full list of available versions and default to the latest stable. If that is not possible, we should warn the user that we couldn't find a stable release and ask whether or not we should fallback to alpha/beta.
If the preferred release channel is alpha/beta we should default to those.
Maybe we should also have a setting to auto fallback to alpha/beta when stable is not available?
Also handle this for mod dependencies
