Sustainable Web Starter Kit

[!NOTE] This is currently a work in progress, and not intended for public use.

The goal for this project is to create a free to use starter kit for creating low emission, sustainable websites.

Requirements

There are a number of important requirements for the project:

1. It should be easy for developers to use and extend
2. Will ship static websites with no JavaScript by default
3. It will attempt to avoid reliance on non-native web technologies (eg. JavaScript frameworks, CSS pre-processors etc)
4. Will follow the W3C Web Sustainability Guidelines
5. Will provide some basic recommendations on common tasks related to building and hosting a website (eg. hosting, analytics, media etc)
6. Many more which are yet to be defined...
