We already have the ability to coarse zoom in on structures in the Diagram Window by selecting a rectangular zoom region on the diagram. @ceheitsch has posed the following question for new improvements within RNAStructViz: How difficult would it be to "click" on a portion of the arc diagram picture and have it "found" in the ct file viewer?
I think that provided we can resolve the modal window issues with FLTK re-drawing that @annakirkpatrick and I noticed while developing late last year, provided that an active CT Viewer window is also open, it shouldn't take much coding effort to have it scroll to the relevant portions of the CT file which are enclosed by the zoom region arcs.
Time Estimate: Logistical issues aside, 2-4 hours developer time (emphasis on less than more)
