RNAStructViz is a graphically oriented application written in C++ to inspect, visualize, and compare RNA secondary structures. It can be installed from source on Unix and Linux based platforms, or via a standard automated installer using our Homebrew tap formulas here on MacOS 10.14 (Linux Brew is currently unsupported, though source-based installations work well on this platform!). Please see these configuration instructions for users after choosing your install method when running RNAStructViz for the first time.
User documentation, including software installation for Mac OSX and Linux/Unix as well as information on core features, is maintained via the RNAStructViz WIKI site. Common issues are covered on our WIKI FAQ page. We have worked very hard documenting all of the features and functionality in this application with detailed descriptions and live screenshots that users can to refer to, as well as through detailed links found to the right in the navigation bar on each WIKI documentation page. If you have any questions (not already addressed by the WIKI), concerns/bug reports, or suggestions/feature requests, let us know by posting a new Github issue, but please read these relevant instructions first before posting.
This application has been developed by the Georgia Tech Research Group in Discrete Mathematics and Molecular Biology (gtDMMB) directed by Professor Christine Heitsch (active credits and citations).
Thank you for using our software!
