ELK Setup Spring App

The following repo deals with implementation of elk bundle with Spring Boot. The aim to serve it as a stand alone skeleton for users willing to add or configure ELK in their Spring applications.

Update (21 October 2020):

Accepting changes or PRs for hacktoberfest 2020 contribution! Making all PRs from now till October end labeled hackoberfest-accepted!

Common changes/ good first issues to get started with:

• Update contributing guidelines with better contribution strategies or commonly accepted community guidelines
• Add unit test cases

Enhancements and Todo list:

• To replace maven with gradle [In Progress]
• Add enpoints to get logs from Spark cluster to the app
• Add Spark Config
• Explore addition of Redis endpoint to the app
• Add Unit tests cases for some sample use cases
• Add Integration tests
• Update README and struture it
• Add contribution document and open source licenses
