Note that @StudioZut also updated all [other] pages on the Drupal site containing the <script> tag with the comment tag in the same fashion.

@StudioZut Did you re-index the search on the drupal test instance? http://test.library.gwu.edu/search-all?query=test is still returning some index.php code, even though index.php contains the comment tags referenced above.
