integrate B2DROP support with b2access AAI #74

in the beginning of 2018, we integrated B2DROP with B2ACCESS, the EUDAT AAI. This allows you to sign into B2DROP using your EUDAT ID.

To unify the login at B2DROP and harmonise it with other EUDAT services, we will disable the local accounts on 1st of October 2018.

Local accounts are accounts created before 2018 and using your email address and password.

If you already synchronise your data with your PC, you can upload it easily to your new account. Otherwise the fastest way to switch your account is a synchronisation by your computer. You will find the link to synchronisation clients in your personal settings at https://b2drop.eudat.eu/settings/personal.

After you switched your account you have to reshare your files with your collaborators.

To synchronise your data with your new account, you must create an app password for your sync client. You can do this in your personal settings at https://b2drop.eudat.eu/settings/personal#security.

In case of any problems, do not hesitate to contact us via email to b2drop-support@cineca.it. Let us know once the migration is done so we can remove your old account.

Sincerely, Your B2DROP support team

Access to b2drop will not change - instead of username password, special application specific tokens (username password) should be generated by "Create new app password" at https://b2drop.eudat.eu/settings/user/security old account are to be manually transfered on user request by EUDAT team.
