It throws

TypeError: Cannot read property 'kill' of undefined
    at process.killChild (/home/dharmax2/projects/mockup/prefender/prefenderMocup/node-server/node_modules/node-nmap/index.js:54:23)

... on the example code itself.

This is unusual. I haven't been able to reproduce the issue. I know it's been a while, but is this still occurring for you?
