In development? Maintainers needed? Abandoned? Deprecated? Should we move to HIE?

(There was a complain about stack-run, removed after I found #84, #88 and #93.)

Hello! This repo is currently not being maintained but we would certainly welcome any maintainers that might be able to help with its development.
