2 years ago Another factor may be that I am observing a difference in app behavior between using either
flatpak run
vs the suggested
gtk-launch
in other apps, and maybe that is a factor in this app, too.
I'm not sure what accounts for the difference in behavior.
For some reason, when I call up Clips using a pre-defined shortcut (in my case, super+v), after a while the app window begins to close automatically and immediately upon opening, making it functionally useless and impossible to change the settings without first deleting the ~/.var/app/com.github.hezral.clips folder.
My guess is that the "hide on startup" option is conflicting, so I am trying to use it now with that option disabled to see if the issue goes away.
