Updates remove other plugins #1123

Closed jasonhsiu closed 1 year ago

Describe The Problem: When I update this myQ plugin, it deletes the govee (https://github.com/bwp91/homebridge-govee) plugin. Which mean I have to reinstall the govee plugin every time, then setup all my govee devices and automations.

To Reproduce:

  1. Install homebridge-govee plugin
  2. Login and setup govee devices
  3. Install homebridge-myq
  4. Observe govee plugin no longer installed
  5. Observe all govee devices removed from accessories

This is a homebridge-config-ui-x issue, not a homebridge-myq issue. I'd suggest opening the issue here:

https://github.com/homebridge/homebridge-config-ui-x/issues

HBMQ doesn't have anything to do with the install/uninstall process...there's nothing I can do here.

It’s not because updating any other plugin does not delete the govee plugin. It only happens when updating the this myQ one.On Oct 12, 2023, at 8:51 PM, hjdhjd @.***> wrote: This is a homebridge-config-ui-x issue, not a homebridge-myq issue.
