Can you give more details on the use case? The idea is that this saves a bit of time because you don't have to switch keyboard layouts? So if you are in the Russian keyboard layout you can still search for "dog" without actually switching to the English keyboard layout?
Yes, the idea is to save time
I want to find in history - DOG
I can type in the English layout - DOG And I can type in the Russian layout - ВЩП
This is NOT a TRANSLATION (from English to Russian). This is the arrangement of the letters of the English and Russian languages on one key
PS I spied this idea from this program http://clipdiary.com
Sorry for the English.
Thanks for the explanation, the idea is clear to me now.
Your English is great, by the way.

It's great to reference other applications that do something similar. That makes your argument stronger.
I use multiple keyboards layouts and I've found that a keyboard shortcut to rotate them is sufficient for my workflow. I just press Shift + CapsLock and it rotates the keyboard. But I understand that you want to be able to skip that step.
Yes, exactly =) Windows has PuntoSwitcher and it saves the day.
It's just a shame, I'm looking for something in history. And then it turns out I typed in another language
I would be grateful if this item appears in the future.)
Good afternoon. Is it possible to implement the following thing? Search history without regard to keyboard layout
For example, I'm looking for "dog" "dog" - in the English layout "вщп" - in Russian layout
