Encryption not working in copyq: Error: "gpg: agent_genkey failed" #2735

Describe the bug encryption function not working when I click on the "Generate new keys..." button An error message appears that says: "gpg: agent_genkey failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device"

Isn't there anyone who can tell me what could be going wrong? I have been trying to solve this problem myself without success and I can't help but think that the solution to this problem is actually simple.
