This may be a duplicate of #2123, but I'm not 100% sure.
This does not seem to be a duplicate of #2123 as the traceback is different, . Can you please see if you can provide the requested data from https://github.com/home-assistant/android/issues/2123#issuecomment-1006822555 and leave it here?
I can get most of the way there - I see the websocket, but no outgoing request with "type":"config/device_registry/list"
; just things about events, templates, themes, etc. Is there a way to manually force it?
Ah, had to load the Integrations
tab and then it populated. Here you are:
Same issue on samsung device menu no devices show.
Same issue on samsung device menu no devices show.
Please check if your crash is the same as the one in the post so we can see if it's the same issue. Also no need to cross post among issues.
Can you guys please help us test a fix for this issue? You can find the full debug APK here: https://github.com/home-assistant/android/actions/runs/1673730317
The app will install side by side the production version so it will be easy to tell a part and wont interfere with the other app. You can safely remove it after testing too.
@dshokouhi Success!
Home Assistant Android version:
2022.1.1-full
Android version:
Android 12
Phone model:
Pixel 6
Home Assistant version:
2021.12.8
Last working Home Assistant release (if known):
2021.12.6
Description of problem:
I lost my home internet a few days ago; when I went into the device controls tray, every control was reporting as "unavailable" (understandable as there was no internet).
However, even after the internet returned, the controls still reported as being unavailable. Force stopping the Home Assistant app did not help; a device reboot did not help. I decided to go into the device controls menu and remove all the controls, with the intention of re-adding them.
However, now whenever I try to add a new device control from Home Assistant, Android simply reports "Compatible Controls Unavailable."
The Home Assistant app is connected to my local instance and is responsive. My girlfriend did not lose her device controls; it is entirely localized to my device and only started after I viewed the device controls menu with no internet connection.
