would be nice to add pyproject.toml and poetry support. I for instance don't know if I should use py3.9 or py3.11 for my environment. am I missing a reference?

Agree. I'm using 3.11 but let's use poetry and specify it explicitly Can you rename the issue to make it an reaction point?
