Hmm, agreed. I've followed the JSON Resume "standard", but I guess it's no surprise that it's heavily geared towards web development.

Could you reuse one of the existing sections and change wording via _data/strings.yml?

P.S. as long as you support all the features of the JSON Resume "standard", you are fine adding additional sections. IMHO
