3 weeks ago The community needs were discussed during the last SOWG. It seems that EUI has mainly requests related to JHelioviewer. They would like to get an image database of flares.
In order to deliver images, we need to produce them and solve "issues" with pointing. Currently, we are able to deliver good pointing for up to 30% of all images. Frédéric is a) trying to extend that number up to 50% ish and to provide us with error bars.
Since this is now an ongoing issue, we will track it separately.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Today, we discussed that we must learn more about how the community uses our STIX data. Specifically concerning the level 2 products and what the science community can, cannot, and will want to do. The focus is on learning more about how to design our level 2 products so we can be efficient and focused.
Describe the solution you'd like Let's collect ideas for suitable questions and selectable options. The survey should guide the recipient through a sequence of questions and help them stay focused. We should allow open questions, but in a fashion that doesn't result in tons of replies that we a) cannot implement or b) do not really apply to us.
