Ongoing maintenance #35

@mwlang to pick up your question in #31 - I'm afraid I'm not actively maintaining nickel at the moment. The code is rather hard to fix when there are bugs and I don't have enough spare time to resolve issues that come up. I am open to reviewing any pull requests though, if you have a fix for an issue that is bothering you.

@iainbeeston thanks for responding! Weird that I didn't get notified by github when you did, but definitely glad to know the situation. I'll dig into the code and see where it takes me.
