Google Fit Community Connector for Looker Studio

Per Google, the Google Fit APIs, including the Google Fit REST API, will no longer be available after June 30, 2025. As of May 1, 2024, developers cannot sign up to use these APIs.

The replacement API, Health Connect, is an Android-only API and will not have a REST API to replace the Google Fit REST API. As such, this project will not have an API to use going forward and is archived.

This Looker Studio lets users query Google Fit for fitness data.

This connector uses the Google Fit REST API.

Set up the Community Connector for personal use

To use this Community Connector in Looker Studio there is a one-time setup to deploy your own personal instance of the connector using Apps Script.

Once you've set up and deployed the connector, follow the Use a Community Connector guide to use the connector in Looker Studio.

Note: After using the connector in Looker Studio, as long as you do not revoke access, it will remain listed in the connector list for easy access when creating a new data source.
