Overview

Improving the Transparent Assessment Framework (TAF) - a tool for . WGTAF is devoted to overseeing and advising on the improvements needed to make TAF​ a fully functional tool for recording, documenting and running stock assessments, data raising procedures and analyses used to support catch advice for commercial fish stocks.

TAF is a platform for quality assurance of . The focus of the group will be to prioritize recommendations, issues, and requests for improvements from end users. Feedback from the users will be compiled by WGTAF and appropriate actions with assigned responsibilities will be listed and prioritised.

User manuals will be updated by WGTAF, and the group will also identify and facilitate training and outreach requirements.

The group works in close collaboration with the stock assessment working groups​, benchmark working groups and advice drafting working groups. Together with these groups WGTAF will work to identify future opportunities for development of TAF as a quality assurance platform.
