When I control the AC from the home app the setting for the unit display is set to enabled. This becomes a problem when turning bedroom units on as we should prefer to not have any light source during the night. It happens only when turning it on, if I turn off the display after turning it on, changing the temp or changing to wind free mode doesn't seem to change it.
Describe the solution you'd like:
I'd expect the display/light setting to remain the same when turning on the AC unit from homebridge.

Turning the AC on from the Smartthings app only then controlling through homebridge
