Select Post Export

Select Post Export is a WordPress plugin that permits users to select individual posts for export. The user can then take the exported file and import the posts into another WordPress installation using the usual WordPress import function.

Installation

Install using the WordPress plugin installer

Usage

You must have admin privileges to use this plugin.

After you have installed the plugin, go to the menu item "Select Post Export" on the left hand menu and you will see the screen below.

Select which post types you want to have the capability to export individual posts.

The menu item will then appear in the post's bulk dropdown as seen below.

To export posts, go to the posts page and check the posts you want to export. Select "Export Individual Posts" from the drop down,then press "Apply".

For exporting posts, WordPress does not give you a success or failure message. You individual browser may display progress of downloads.
