NIDM-Experiment

Documentation

The W3C-formatted work-in-progress version of the NIDM-Experiment specification, containing only NIDM namespace terms, is available here.

The entire NIDM-Experiment specification terminology is available here. Terms from other ontologies and terminologies (BIDS, DICOM, SIO, OBO, ONLI) used in NIDM-Experiment can also be found here by clicking on the buttons at the top of the page. These pages are interconnected, for example, if a nidm: namespace term entry uses a term from SIO, the SIO term will be a link that will refer to the SIO entry that provides the term label and definition. These pages can be used as a source of URI's, useful when annotating data using PyNIDM or other software. For example, the entry for the term is here [nidm:ImageDataReconstruction] http://nidm.nidash.org/specs/nidm_html/index.html#imagedatareconstruction).

We have created terminologies from the BIDS and DICOM standards and included them in NIDM-Experiment. This means that all terms used in the BIDS specification and each DICOM tag now has a URI that can be used for data annotation. Note however that BIDS and DICOM terms do not have formal definitions in their respective standards, but the description provided by those standards is provided here in each term entry.

NIDM weekly calls

We meet to discuss the development of NIDM-Experiment by videoconference, once a month on a Friday at 8-9am PDT / 11am-12pm EDT / 4-5pm BST. The group is always open to new contributors interested in neuroimaging data sharing. To join the call or to ask any question, please email us at incf-nidash-nidm@googlegroups.com.
