Move sidebar menu into top level navigation #86

Closed stilkov closed 9 years ago

I need someone with more bootstrap/CSS fu to take a look at this: I’m considering including the side bar navigation into the top level menu, which would then collapse to a hamburger menu on small view ports. Randomly adding and removing paddings worked to a limited degree – I’m sure there’s a better way. Also, comments as to why this might be totally stupid are welcome. /cc @aheusingfeld @FND @martinei @jannikolai

This is what it looks like, BTW:

The question for me is: How do you want it to look on a desktop browser?

Like a menu? The easiest fix would be to just remove the section headings and find some better labels.

What about twitter's general layout: move it to the right side of the timeline but keep it as it was before and only collapse it to a "hamburger" when there's not enough space? twitter-layout

“To the right side”? You mean to the left? Slightly confused.

ehm, yes, of course I meant "to the left", sorry.
