broad locality names for geolocation #13

In our dataset usually broad locality names are provided (e.g. Alexandria, Abuqir Bay etc) but in some cases the geolocation info may be more specific (based on a map given). I know https://obis.org/maptool/ and https://www.marineregions.org/gazetteer.php?p=search but they do not serve our purpose since they do not provide a good zoom in. Is google earth an acceptable tool in this case?

Yes, use locationID to point to a gazetteer
