The integration of plasnet into pling is finished in branch https://github.com/iqbal-lab-org/pling/tree/fix/plasnet , but I don't want to make a PR from that branch to main directly because there are too many changes, and will make it confusing to review it. I will break the changes into 2 or 3 PRs, this being the first one. These PRs will be merged into dev, a current copy of main, and then when we agree on all PRs and dev is stable, we merge it into main.
This first PR is a deletion PR: it removes all the files in pling that are now redundant because we are integrating plasnet in pling. There is not much to review here, it is more so that you know about this for the subsequent PRs. Still, let's just merge after Daria's review.
