This should be alright to merge as all PRs were reviewed, but it would be reassuring to check if the pling dev version actually produces the same (or very similar) results to pling main version in one of your real datasets @babayagaofficial . This would be an extra regression test to ensure we did not add any serious bugs in this PR. Feel free to merge this PR directly to main though if you feel confident about the changes.
