I have started seeing these errors today:

2024-05-14 14:11:32.617 WARNING (MainThread) [custom_components.fordpass] 401 Client Error: Unauthorized for url: https://login.ford.ie/[snipped]/B2C_1A_SignInSignUp_EN-IE/oauth2/v2.0/token 2024-05-14 14:11:32.618 WARNING (MainThread) [custom_components.fordpass] Error communicating with FordPass for [snipped] 2024-05-14 14:11:32.618 WARNING (MainThread) [custom_components.fordpass] Returning Stale data to prevent unavaliable status

I upgraded to 1.68-Release a few days ago after seeing the issue in #488 which resolved that issue, but this is a new issue today. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling fordpass.

This is for a UK based Mach-E.

Same here. USA account.

Same here (South Africa) Suspicious timing. Exactly the same thing happened this time last week, when they rolled out updates to their API security or something

dbwhitney commented 3 months ago

Same here in Italy. 2024-05-14 15:32:45.195 WARNING (MainThread) [custom_components.fordpass] 401 Client Error: Unauthorized for url: https://login.ford.ie/redacted/B2C_1A_SignInSignUp_EN-IE/oauth2/v2.0/token

Yeah same again, looks like they figured out the fix and blocked it. :-/ Again on a Tuesday so update Tuesdays / change Tuesdays suck.

GSLaaitie commented 3 months ago

Mine is back up and refreshing. Problem sorted itself out.

dbwhitney commented 3 months ago

Mine is back as well. It looks like Ford changed something and then backed it out. Oops. It happens.

AlanJ500 commented 3 months ago

Yep, looks like it. Glad to see I'm not the only hawk watching it. lol It's functional again, but will see if this change does happen down the line.

slopemad commented 3 months ago

Indeed, all working fine for me now too.

SquidBytes commented 3 months ago

There are probably going to be many problems here and there.

Due to security changes being implemented by Ford, the current solution may stop working in the near future. We are in talks with Ford about how we could potentially support their official 3rd party API, but this may not be a quick process as it's still in development.

Sucks that Ford keeps breaking it
