(Suggestion) Option to show extra HUD Panel info before the boss is defeated #1

Option to show full extended hud panel info (scrappers etc) before TP boss is defeated. Also an option to enable without opening the scoreboard would be nice! Thank you

Hi, thanks for the suggestion!

This is something that has been considered, but my main concerns are:

  1. with multiplayer: (e.g. the default view does not show void cradles until the boss is defeated; if a player could see that information earlier, they could try hunt down the void cradles and open them at the start of the stage before the other players are aware (since they cost health rather than gold))
  2. showing too much information and removing the incentive to explore the map (e.g. oh, there's no scrappers/printers on this stage, so I won't bother searching for one; limiting this information until after the boss makes it (maybe) a tiny bit more strategic, since you might want to scrap and print before fighting the boss, but you don't know for sure if there is a scrapper/printer until after defeating the boss)

re: showing the Loot panel w/o needing the scoreboard open

I'm open to hearing your rationale for the changes, thanks for taking the time to read this reply!

As far as balance options go I think it's best not impose one's own idea onto what others might be using the mod for. I often host lobbies with 4-10 players. Even if I wanted to use it to my advantage, there'd be little benefit. But perhaps to balance it out, if the option is ticked to show the info, perhaps a chat message can be sent at the start of the stage either saying "this player is using HUDdle up" or state "this stage has X scrappers"

For me personally, I spend almost as much time tweaking mod configs and running console commands in game as I do looting. Also it would be helpful info to be able to see when testing mods like RealerStageTweaker to not have to defeat the boss to see how my changes are taking effect.

Worth considering, thanks!
