About Helpless Kiwi

Helpless Kiwi is a (self-hosted) activity manager for (student) associations. It can help you manage your activities and the participation to them. Helpless Kiwi should give you insight into which activities do well, as well as allow your members a convenient and central way to view and sign up for them.

Getting started

To get started with Helpless Kiwi, you'll usually want to install it on your own webserver which allows anyone to access it from the internet. Refer to the deployment manual on how to do this.

If you want to install the code on your own machine for development purposes (eg. if you'd like to create your own custom modifications or if you want to contribute to the development of the project), refer to the local installation manual.

Contributing

We welcome contributions to the project! Before submitting your contributions, check out our contributing guidelines and the code of conduct.

We can always use your help squashing bugs or implementing new features. Sonarcloud scans and checks the project for a myriad of other 'issues', as shown below. Our goal is to get these, as much as possible, resolved. Any help with this is more then appreciated!
