An alternative backlinks plugin, which displays relevant and formatted excerpts from notes with linked mentions, based on the position of mentions in the notes' hierarchical structure (bullet level indentation).

Allow backlink content to be editable without opening up the source page #57
The improved formatting in Influx drastically improves the backlink experience in Obsidian and brings it closer to being on par with Roam, Logseq etc. Those other platforms still have a leg up though as they allow content to be edited in the backlinks pane without needing to open up the source page.
Being able to edit content in the backlinks directly allows a user to view all notes related to a concept in one place and edit and modify the content regardless of which file the content exists in. This great improved the networked thought workflow and allows the user to say in focus without needing to constantly navigate between notes.
