Just a question #154

Hi I see that oandbackup backs up app and data very similar to titanium backup which is really cool. My question is, does oandbackup backup and restore apps and data correctly without any issues? and does it do it the same way titanium backup does it? Because sometimes when using titanium backup to restore, it gives an error (not sure the name of the error exactly) on restoring the apk before the data. Which causes me to go to the playstore first and download it and then restore only the data. So id like to find out before i try it..

I use android 6.0.1

You could have tested that yourself in the time it took you to post this 'issue'.

@jensstein im new to your app, can you give me a useful answer to my simple question above?

@2si3nx , you're writing to the _issuetracker . Why don't you just browse it and see for yourself? It isn't the good place for conversations.

i'll agree with the others that this question doesn't really suit the issue tracker. but the point of oandbackup is indeed to "backup and restore apps and data correctly without any issues", so if you find any examples of this not being the case, please don't hesitate reporting them :) i don't know how titanium backup works so i cannot say if oandbackup does its backup and restore the same way. if you have any apps that don't work with titanium, please try them with oab and report back if it doesn't work.
