"legend" for status colors in the inventory menu #176

Explain status effect colors in the inventory so it's clearer what each color means

This may be rendered unnecessary by the upcoming tutorial mode, where players can experience the effects of various status effects in a controlled environment with no gameplay consequences. But better cluing of the stat meanings would still be nice. There are unused icons in health/textures that could be made to appear or change depending on stats.

I dunno I feel you have to consider the players that will just never play the tutorial and would rather experience the world raw lol

Good iconography will go a long way

Well, I figured it all out on my own, it just took a while and a lot of deaths. Eventually I was up to iron and delving the city all by myself, so it can be worked out even if you were to refuse the tutorial.

I think all deaths should be avoidable so the game play isn't just annoying trial and error, like "oh I should've known" rather than "oh I was punished for something I had no way of knowing"

Almost all of them are avoidable, in fact. It just requires knowledge and skill. The knowledge needs to be communicated better especially to new players, whereas skill has to be built up.
