Cannot activate user defined doesn't work in red menu[REQUEST]

Hello,i have mhi2q_us_aug22_p4246 and trying convert from us to eu after convertation in mib i go to the swdl and put check in the box user dfined swdl after i press any button to out from green menu and go to the red menu ,put sdcard with MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P5092_MU1329 but user defined still not active in red menu? whats wrong i do?

@pawelgaw9 I updated it through the standard, but I need to check if Amp is disabled so that the sound settings are not thrown.

I was also told that I need to update the American firmware to the last one and then do the conversion and then the user mode will be available

update through standard and it works ok ? did you got an error before click resume about downgrade error ?

Yep,it works ok, i install mibtoolbox ,convert to eu,after i can update in red menu by standart (yes i got errror about downgrade), after update install patch for eu firmware ,update maps, gracenot,radio

I haven't checked it yet, since the car is still being repaired, it seems that it still needs to be transferred to European frequencies through long coding

it already has european frequencies :) but always at start its starting from 87.5 mhz :) im looking for solution

Hi all, Im having the same issue but wasnt sure to flash the European firmware without the user defined option. AMP/B&O wasnt checked though.

Is it safe to flash it than run patch AIO?

Update your american unit to the last sw version, after that run conversion on mibtoolbox, and you will get user defined. Next flash unit with eu software.

Yes but i already converted the unit to EU using MIB.

I did procced in this way. I installed MIB, run the convertion to EU, then checked ignore region and variant and enable user defined. Inserted the sd card with the EU firmware and there i got stuck. Amp B O wasnt checked but i wasnt sure to flash EU without checking everything else

Flash with eu sw and will be ok. Without user defined. You can flash it again later

Ill flash without user defined. than install mib, check user defined and than flash again same FW with user defined so i can check everything except B&O?
