Project 2 - Flix

Flix is a movie application for iOS.

Time spent: 20 (ish? plus or minus 5?) hours spent in total

User Stories

The following required functionality is complete:

[x] User can view a list of movies currently playing in theaters from The Movie Database (title, poster image, and overview).
[x] User sees a loading state while waiting for the movies API
[x] User can pull to refresh the movie list.

The following optional features are implemented:

[x] User can view a details screen by tapping on a button in the cell
[x] User interface is prettier
[x] Collection view instead of table view
[x] Search bar for user to search movies

The following additional features are implemented:

[x] User can go to Fandango to purchase movie tickets
[x] Scrolling view of the whole summary
[x] Collection view in addition to table view (with selector to toggle between them)
[x] Table view to show actors with names, rolls, and images (gotten from extra API calls)
[x] User can view rating and release date of movie
[x] App icon
[x] Splash screen
