If the plan image is loaded with the wrong configuration, the histogram of the atlas overlay will show instead of the X-Ray image. If images are then flip, the gray value ranges of the atlas are maintained - but which are completely off for the X-Ray image.
This could be adressed by
a) either scaling the gray value range of both images (X-Ray layer & Plan layer) to the same range
b) updating the histogram when image is flipped
