Hatjitsu does this anonymously, by count, which should be the MVP. Ideally, the room would show names, a la login or etherpad.

As a tech note, this may involve periodic pinging to the server with an id and the saved name if there is one.

If we were to require login via Google's OAuth 2.0, we'd get familiar user name's for free.
