Yes, encountered the same issue. The new fan control option probably added some complexity to the fan data model. I don't know if johnray will provide an updated plugin, but hope so. It really makes the log a mess with errors showing up every 10 seconds. I am looking to modify the plugin myself if I can't find an update or get API documentation from Nest themselves.
It actually started working for me again. /me shrugs.

Looks like the recent updates to the nest website have broken the plugin:
