Looks like the recent updates to the nest website have broken the plugin:

Nest Thermostat Error Error in plugin execution runConcurrentThread:

Traceback (most recent call last): File "plugin.py", line 641, in runConcurrentThread File "plugin.py", line 527, in _refreshStatesFromHardware File "plugin.py", line 239, in get_fan_mode <type 'exceptions.KeyError'>: u'duty-cycle'

Nest Thermostat Error plugin runConcurrentThread function returned or failed (will attempt again in 10 seconds)

Yes, encountered the same issue. The new fan control option probably added some complexity to the fan data model. I don't know if johnray will provide an updated plugin, but hope so. It really makes the log a mess with errors showing up every 10 seconds. I am looking to modify the plugin myself if I can't find an update or get API documentation from Nest themselves.

It actually started working for me again. /me shrugs.
