when using -f there is a long pause - what is it? #242

Having implemented parallel pings, it would be lovely if it is possible to somehow shorten the amount of time that this phase takes....

I dont know what it is or how to research it

It is the firewall rules being applied. I am actually reworking the iptables rules. but there won't be much we can do to speed it up. it's negligible amount of delay anyway.
