Model sinks into map at low zoom #424

At zoom levels below about 13, while pitch is around zero, my model appears to sink into the map.

Visit my codepen to see my setup: zoom out, pitch to zero.

It doesn’t appear to be an altitude issue, dragging the model vertical doesn’t change the behaviour.

Mapbox 3.4.0, Standard style, Threebox 2.2.2

Haven't seen an issue like that ever... but maybe it's due you're using Mapbox 3.4. Latest version supported (I mean, where all the examples were tested) in this plugin was Mapbox-gl-js v2.2.0.

It seems Mapbox changed the way the calculate the altitude
