Alright, so I've been thinking about accessible topics for this event with a few different audiences in mind:
1) jQuery users, junior agency developers, enterprise internal tool makers (never used a framework) 2) Application developers, Bootstrap and Backbone users 3) Node/backend developers who want to get into some front end
For the beginners, I'd like to do a few "why use this?" type talks, one for Backbone and one for Bootstrap.
For people who are already using frameworks (or are rolling their own), I'd like to include things like:
I'm still working on content for the backend guys.
Suggestions for speakers and other topics is greatly appreciated :)
@fat has been on a speaking hiatus for a year or so and might be ready to have a go. He's always entertaining. Want me to ask?
It would be great to have @fat with us! Please ask :)

Looks like I have one of the FlatUI guys doing a talk about customizing Bootstrap.

I tend to prefer talks that tell a story, usually about using something rather than just talking about the technology. But, it's hard to fill a programme with just talks like that :(
Go ahead and invite which ever speakers you think will work well. I'm still working on venue/size/budget, do you think you'll want to fly anyone out? If so, that'll increase the ticket price a little bit.
I'll definitely be building in some using type talks too. Definitely still early days here. It's too early to tell if I'll need to fly anyone out yet.
I'm going to try to convince people to fly themselves out though. I'd like to keep this pretty cheap.
Looks like @HenrikJoreteg will be talking about the origins of HumanJS for this. I'm really excited about this one.
(also, please forgive me if I use this issue as a notepad. I like to keep things all in one place, and the more experienced people that can see what I'm thinking/doing, the better this will turn out.)
feel free to put any and all notes here.
No @fat sorry, he's still trying to maintain a low profile with no speaking unfortunately.
No problem, thanks for reaching out for me.
