It's not my place to make demands, but I strongly recommend we consider the LGPL license or another, less aggressive license to avoid issues with this layer being built with/ontop of other layers/interfaces

Good point! I've ammended the PR to now bring in the Apache Software License, which happens to be what Logstash is licensed under, so thats a nice complimentary license for the charm.
