  1. I want to explore/prove that lower economic classes do not have to rely on "cheaper" fast food and unhealthier food options in order to feed themselves and their family. They can achieve a much more nutritiously complete diet for the same, if not lower prices than those unhealthier options.

"The middle class consumes more fast food than the poorest and the wealthiest cross sections of society, according to this study. The idea is the more hours you work, the less leisure time you have and the more likely you are to turn to convenience for eating."

  1. locally sourced foods (farmers markets) versus traditional markets (Safeway, whole foods, etc)
  2. health "consciousness" by generational group
  3. public versus private school lunches
