umsteigen.jetzt-frontend
umsteigen.jetzt (German for "change now") is an open source platform aiming to provide a simple comparison between car, public transport, bicycle and hybrid (bike+public transport, not yet implemented) to daily commuters in the Berlin-Brandenburg area. It offers specific data on emissions, time, cost, risk of accidents and burned calories for each mean of transportation.
This project is still under active developement and not ready for production yet. If you want to adapt it for your city/region or add another language (currently everything is in German), feel free to do so, I'd really much appreciate it!
Just note that this was initially hacked at DB Hackathon and Hack your city. Therefore, this is the worst code - especially the layout - I've ever written. Pls don't judge me and give me a few more weeks to fix this disgrace.
